Listen now to Cat Smith’s Voice Over Demo!  Cat is a voice over actress residing in Northern California with frequent travels to Los Angeles.  She has been a popular radio host on Sun FM 91.3 KSVY Sonoma for nearly six years, as well as Sun TV Comcast Cable Channel 27 thanks to simulcasting of Mornings in Sonoma.  Recently she voiced the character “Skip” in Eco Beeps with Skip and Molly, a series of green themed children’s shorts.  One episode in that series, Plastic Bags, won Best Independent Short, ages 2-5, at the Kids First! Film Festival.   

This blog will serve as a record of the current journey to find an agent as well as a diary of what happens when the work begins.  Hopefully, it will entertain as well as educate and bring in potential employers.    Aside from the diary, there will also be advice and articles on the voice over industry.  The ultimate goal is to work, but it is wise to appreciate the journey.  The posts should be fairly frequent if all goes as planned.  This will not only keep me on the right path, but hopefully bring readers back for more and keep them from getting bored.
